Subscription Terms — Lunoria
English version 1.2 · Effective date: 2026-08-05 · A supplement to the Terms of Service (see in particular Section 6, "Subscription and payments," Section 17, "United States-specific terms," and Section 18, "Australia-specific terms"). Prices and limits below are current as of the date shown above. Available languages: polski, Deutsch, français, español.
1. Plans and pricing
Lunoria offers one free plan (Free) and two paid subscription plans, Plus and Premium, each available on a monthly or annual billing period. This document covers payment, pricing, and cancellation only — for what the Service is and its entertainment-only positioning, see the Terms of Service.
Reference pricing for Poland and the euro area. Current reference prices in Polish złoty (for Poland) and euro (for other EU markets) are published in the Polish-language version of this document, /subscription-terms/#plany — we keep that table in one place rather than duplicating the same figures here, so a future price change cannot silently drift out of sync between language versions.
Pricing for the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and other non-euro/PLN markets. At the time of writing this English version, we are not stating a fixed number here for every individual storefront currency (USD, GBP, AUD, or any other currency your app store or browser locale maps to), because the exact, final localized price for each of those specific storefronts had not yet been confirmed. The concrete price in your own currency is always shown to you on the plan-comparison screen in the Application, and again immediately before you confirm payment — before any charge is made. This satisfies the transparent-pricing requirement referred to in the Polish document (the EU Omnibus Directive and the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive) and the equivalent "clear and conspicuous... before the consumer incurs a financial obligation" disclosure standard of California's Automatic Renewal Law and similar US state statutes (see Section 11 below).
Annual discount, described qualitatively. For each paid plan, the annual price is set to be substantially lower than paying the monthly price for 12 consecutive months — for the Polish/EU reference prices published in the Polish document, this works out to roughly a 55–60% discount relative to 12 months of the monthly price. We do not restate that exact percentage per currency here, because store-level price-ending conventions (for example, rounding to a ".99" ending in a given currency) can move the precise figure slightly from one market to another; the app's plan-comparison screen always shows the monthly and annual price side by side before you choose, so you can compare the actual discount in your own currency directly.
Displayed prices include any tax required by applicable law where that applies — for example VAT in the EU and the UK, or state/local sales tax in the United States, collected through the applicable store's or payment processor's own tax mechanism.
2. Features and limits by plan
| Feature | Free | Plus | Premium |
|---|---|---|---|
| Daily horoscope, compatibility | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Tarot, numerology, natal chart (basic spreads) | 10 readings / month (shared pool) | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Tarot — exclusive spreads (e.g., Celtic Cross) | Not available | Not available | Available |
| Conversational chat — basic responses | 15 messages / month | Unlimited in normal use | Unlimited in normal use |
| Conversational chat — deep responses with extended memory | Not available | Monthly limit (shown in the app) | Higher monthly limit than Plus, plus broader conversation-context memory |
| Top-up | Not available | Available | Available, at a better rate |
The exact numeric values of the monthly "deep response" chat limits for Plus and Premium are calibrated to cover well above typical real-world usage and may be adjusted as the product evolves — the current numbers are always shown in the Application's Settings and on the plan-comparison screen before purchase.
3. Top-ups (consumable purchases)
Active Plus and Premium subscribers can purchase a one-off top-up that extends the deep chat-response limit for the current billing cycle:
| Product | Availability | Contents |
|---|---|---|
| Standard top-up | Plus and Premium | +20 deep responses |
| Premium top-up | Premium only | +30 deep responses |
Pricing for top-ups, like subscription pricing (Section 1 above), is shown in your local currency before purchase. For reference, current EU/Polish top-up pricing is published in the Polish document, /subscription-terms/#doladowania. If you hold a Premium subscription, the paywall shows you only the better Premium top-up offer — the standard offer is replaced, not shown alongside it.
A top-up is a one-time purchase, not a subscription — it does not renew, billed by RevenueCat as a consumable ("non-renewing purchase") product: as a one-time Stripe payment in the web channel, or as an in-app purchase of the relevant store in the native channel. Top-ups are not available on the Free plan, and unused top-up credits expire after a period of inactivity described in the Privacy Policy's data-retention table.
A top-up is digital content that is consumed (used) immediately once your payment is recorded. The rules on the right of withdrawal from this kind of purchase — including how you can waive that right with your express consent — are described together for subscriptions and top-ups in Section 7, Right of withdrawal / cooling-off period, below.
4. Free access window ("welcome window")
A new Free account may receive a one-time, time-limited (7-day) period of complimentary access to Premium-equivalent features (the "welcome window"). It does not require a payment card, and it does not automatically convert into a paid subscription — it simply lapses back to the Free plan's normal limits at the end of the window.
Because no card is collected and no charge is ever made without your own, separate, affirmative purchase action, this is not a "free trial" in the sense that triggers the additional pre-conversion reminder obligations some US state laws — for example California's Automatic Renewal Law as amended by AB 2863, in force since 1 July 2025 — impose specifically on trials that convert automatically into a paid subscription by charging a card collected at trial sign-up. See Terms of Service, Section 17.3a, for the full statement of this reasoning. If we ever introduce a card-collected trial that auto-converts to a paid plan, we will update these Subscription Terms and our purchase flow first, including the pre-conversion reminder that law would then require.
5. Billing channels
5.1. Web channel (browser, lunoria.lumasoft.pl): payments are handled by RevenueCat Web Billing in conjunction with Stripe Checkout (a hosted page) — your card details never reach our servers.
5.2. Native channel (App Store / Google Play): payments are handled by the relevant store's built-in in-app purchase mechanism, managed through RevenueCat. The price and subscription terms are shown on the Application screen preceding Apple's/Google's native purchase window. Payment is taken from your iTunes/Apple ID account or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase, and subsequent renewal charges are taken within 24 hours before the end of the current period, unless you cancel first. For the Application's current, actual distribution channel, see Terms of Service, Section 15.3 — the Application is currently distributed through Google Play (Android); distribution through the Apple App Store has not yet begun, and the provisions above concerning the Apple App Store will begin to apply once the Application is actually made available there.
6. Automatic renewal and cancellation
6.1. A subscription renews automatically for the next billing period (monthly or annual), unless it is cancelled before the end of that period.
6.2. Cancelling in the web channel: in the Application's Settings (Lunoria does not require registration or an account — Settings are tied to your session on this device), at any time, using a mechanism no more difficult than the one used to subscribe.
6.3. Cancelling in the native channel: a subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play is cancelled in that store's own account settings, not in the Application:
- Apple: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or the direct subscription-management link for your Apple ID available from the Application's Settings.
- Google: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or the direct link at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
6.4. Cancelling does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current, already-paid period — access to paid features remains active until the end of that period.
7. Right of withdrawal / cooling-off period
(a) EU/EEA consumers. Under Article 27 of the Polish Act on Consumer Rights (implementing Directive 2011/83/EU), a consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. This includes consumers resident in Ireland and Malta, where English is an official language, and consumers resident in Cyprus and any other EU/EEA member state who read and rely on this English version of these Subscription Terms — the underlying EU-law right is the same regardless of which language version you read; see Terms of Service, Section 14a, for how language versions relate to which country's mandatory law protects you.
(b) United Kingdom consumers. A parallel domestic right applies under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 — a general 14-day cancellation right, with an equivalent exception (Regulation 37) for digital content once you have given express consent to immediate performance and acknowledged the loss of your cancellation right, using the same checkbox mechanism described above.
(c) United States and Australian consumers. Neither federal US law nor Australian federal law gives you a general, no-reason 14-day right of withdrawal of the kind described in (a) and (b) above. Instead, your protection comes from mandatory disclosure and easy-cancellation rules (Section 11 below for the United States; Terms of Service, Section 18, for Australia) and, for new Free accounts, the no-card, no-auto-convert welcome window described in Section 4 above, which lets you try Premium-equivalent features without needing a withdrawal right in the first place.
8. Refunds
8.1. Web channel: refund requests outside the right of withdrawal described in Section 7 above are handled as complaints, under the procedure and timeline described in Terms of Service, Section 7 (Complaints procedure), at [email protected].
8.2. Native channel: refunds for purchases made through the App Store / Google Play are managed exclusively by Apple/Google — Luma does not have direct control over the physical processing of a refund in this channel:
- Apple: submit a request at reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google: submit a request through Google Play → Order history
Regardless of which system physically processes the refund, EU/EEA and UK consumers retain the right of withdrawal described in Section 7 above, and US and Australian consumers retain the statutory rights described in Terms of Service, Sections 17 and 18. If Apple/Google decline a refund and you believe a right described above applies to you, raise it at [email protected] — we will review it individually.
9. Plan changes (upgrade / downgrade)
Moving from Plus to Premium takes effect immediately, with a proportional price adjustment (proration) handled by RevenueCat. Moving from Premium to Plus takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle — the deep chat-response limit switches to the value for the new plan only from that point, not during the period already under way.
10. Price changes
We will notify you of a change to the price of your active subscription at least 30 days before it takes effect. In line with Terms of Service, Section 13.2, a price change takes effect only after your express acceptance of the new terms — your silence is not treated as acceptance. If you do not accept the new price before it takes effect, you may terminate the subscription with immediate effect and receive a refund of the proportionate part of the fee for the unused part of the paid billing period.
Changes that do not affect Users' rights or obligations (e.g., an editorial clarification of the text, or a change to our contact details) take effect after the 30-day notice period without requiring separate acceptance, consistent with Terms of Service, Section 13.1.
11. United States — additional detail
This Section applies only to Users who are consumers residing in the United States and supplements Terms of Service, Section 17, with subscription-specific detail. Where this Section and Terms of Service Section 17 could be read to conflict, Section 17 of the Terms of Service controls.
California's Automatic Renewal Law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17600 et seq.), as amended by AB 2863 (in force since 1 July 2025), and similar automatic-renewal statutes in other US states, require, among other things: (i) clear and conspicuous disclosure of the recurring charge, its amount, and the cancellation method, before you complete a purchase — satisfied by Sections 1 and 6 above and by Terms of Service, Section 17.3; (ii) an easy, online "click to cancel" method at least as easy to use as the sign-up method — satisfied by Section 6.2 above and Terms of Service, Section 17.3; and (iii) advance notice of a material price increase, in a retainable format, 7 to 30 days before it takes effect — addressed, including the specific open item for California web-channel subscribers, in Section 10 above.
Top-ups (Section 3 above) are one-time, consumable purchases, not continuous "negative option" service contracts — the Automatic Renewal Law's recurring-charge-specific disclosures described above do not apply to them in the same way a renewing subscription does, though ordinary contract and refund law still applies to a top-up purchase.
12. Australia — additional detail
This Section applies only to Users who are consumers residing in Australia and supplements Terms of Service, Section 18, with subscription-specific detail. Where this Section and Terms of Service Section 18 could be read to conflict, Section 18 of the Terms of Service controls.
The consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law described in Terms of Service, Section 18.1, cannot be excluded and apply to each renewed billing period of your subscription, not only to the first — a renewal does not "reset" or reduce those guarantees. The price and billing cycle for your subscription are shown to you in Australian dollars at the point of purchase, through whichever of the App Store, Google Play, or Stripe Checkout you use, and cancellation works exactly as described in Section 6 above, using the relevant store's own subscription-management screen for native-channel purchases.
